Shipping Methods:

We ship orders by one of these methods:

• Canada Post: (Regular Expedited)
  
  
• Purolator: (Requires a physical address or the nearest pick-up depot. For more information, visit www.purolator.com).
  
• Other Couriers: (Please provide your account number and company name that was registered with your courier).
  Larger orders may require special shipping arrangements with trucking companies. Please contact us to discuss alternative shipping methods.

Please call to discuss other methods of shipping to see if we are able to accommodate your requests.

USA AND INTERNATIONAL ORDERS: SORRY, WE DO NOT SHIP OUTSIDE OF CANADA.

Shipping Estimates:

We are not able to  determine the cost of shipping when your order is placed. Shipping costs are calculated based on weight and cubic dimensions and the shipping address postal code.
Please contact customer service if you require a shipping estimate (estimates are subject to change).

Our website will attempt to calculate accurate shipping charges. These are only an estimate of shipping fees. We reserve the right to apply actual shipping fees at the time your order is processed.

Web Shipping Promotion:

Eligible items will be shipped in the most economical way. Our web shipping promotion is not eligible with our other promotional offers, clearance-priced items, or discounted items, Bulkier items, (including but not limited to Butcher Equipment, Coolers, Sleds, Large Stretchers and Forming Boards, Rolls of Canvas, Imitation Shearling, Rawhide, Drum Frames or Drum Kits).
This promotion does not apply to single shipments with combined orders, splitting shipping fees over multiple invoices, or requests for invoices to be billed onto an account. It also does not cover special handling fees, (including Priority shipping, oversize fees, special handling for residential delivery, or other freight charges requiring additional services).
Shipping promotion is not applicable to orders requested for invoices to be billed on account.

Shipping promotion is calculated as follows: We calculate the value of 7% from your order's subtotal (before taxes or shipping fees) and apply that value towards your shipping fees.
If your shipping fees are more than the 7% value, we will bill you the difference.

Example:

Let's assume your order subtotal (before taxes and shipping fees) is $400 we will apply $28 towards your shipping.
If your total shipping charges were $40 we would apply up-to 7%  (or $28) towards your $40 shipping fees and bill you the remaining $12.

However if your total shipping charges were $25, we would apply up-to 7% (or $28) towards your $25 shipping fees.
You would not pay for shipping and the remaining $3 (the difference) will be lost.

Currency, Insurance and Traceability:

Your order is insured for up-to $100.00. Orders exceeding $100.00 are not covered by Halford’s.
To ensure your order is fully insured against loss or damage, please request additional coverage at the time of placing your order.

All orders will be processed in Canadian Dollar (CAD) Currency and are shipped from Halford's insured up-to $100 against loss or damages during transit.

If you require your tracking number please call our offices or log-in to your account to find your tracking number(s) to locate your package

Payment Information:

Payment Methods Accepted:

•    Credit Cards and Gift Cards: We accept Visa, Mastercard, and pre-paid credit cards (available at Canada Post, financial institutions, and some grocery/convenience stores).

Halford’s Gift Cards can be used in-store, by phone, or online. Enter your gift card number and CVV2 code in the “Shipping Instructions” section of our website at checkout.
WE DO NOT ACCEPT AMERICAN EXPRESS OR DISCOVERY CARDS.

•    E-Transfer: We accept E-transfers for payment. Send your E-transfer to E-transfer@halfords.ca with the memo: “E-transfer for (Account number), ($ amount) from (name on account).”
Please include a minimum of $40, or 10% of the total amount (whichever is greater) to allow funds for shipping and handling fees.

•    Credit Term Accounts: Any payments made on account that are paid by credit card will incur a 3.5% credit card processing fee. Other payment methods will not incur this fee.

•    Cheque or Money Order: For the provinces listed below, please add the applicable taxes. For all other provinces/territories, please include 5% GST.

Disclaimers:

•    Price Changes: Prices are subject to change without notice.
•    Website vs. Catalogue Pricing: In case of discrepancies between website and catalogue, the price on our website will be considered correct.
•    Catalogue Images: Colours and photos in the catalogue may not exactly match the actual products and are subject to change due to manufacturer changes, new suppliers, or other unavoidable changes.
•    Product Discrepancies: You have up to 5 business days from the proof of delivery date to report any product shortages or damages.
After this period, it will be assumed that all items were received in good working order, and disputes regarding damaged or missing items will not be accepted. All damaged packages must be reported on the waybill, (where applicable).

Back Orders:

•   Requesting Back Orders: To request items to be back ordered, please indicate them on your order. For web orders, use the “Shipping Instructions” box found under the “Order Information” section at checkout.
•    Pre-Payment: For faster delivery, consider pre-paying for back ordered items.
•    Price Increases: Out-of-stock items may be subject to price increases once they become available.
•    Shipping Charges: Due to rising shipping and packaging costs, we are unable to cover freight charges for back ordered items.
•    Notification and Reservation: A Customer Service Representative will notify you when your item(s) are available.
We will reserve your product for up to two weeks before releasing it to the general public unless already paid for).
Please note that back ordered items (paid or unpaid) may be subject to price changes from inflation.

Return Policy:

(Please read carefully before returning merchandise)

•    General Returns: If you are unsatisfied with your purchase (except items covered under a Manufacturer’s Warranty), please return or exchange it within 30 days from the invoice date. Prior approval and an RMA (Return Materials Authorization) number is required from Customer Service.

•    How to Obtain an RMA Number: Call us at 1.800.353.7864 or email order@halfordsmailorder.com With the following information:

• Name and account number from the invoice
• Complete address
• Telephone number
• Halford’s catalogue item number(s) being returned.

Upon receiving your RMA number, write it on a copy of the original invoice and include it with your return. Please write your RMA number in large bold letters on the outside of the package for quicker processing.

Important Notes:
    ?  Returns without an authorized RMA number may be refused or subject to a 20% restocking fee.
    ?  Items must be unused, undamaged, and in their original packaging with all original parts, manuals and documents originally shipped with the product.
    ?  C.O.D. returns are not accepted; all returned items must be prepaid.
    ?  Shipping charges are non-refundable unless authorized otherwise.
    ?  For exchanges, the customer is responsible for return freight costs.
    ?  Refunds may be issued as a Halford’s gift card for future purchases.
    ?  Halford’s is not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged packages in transit. Please use a carrier that provides proof of delivery and insurance.
    ?  Non-Refundable items include: Books, Patterns, DVDs, Clearance items, or items intended for human consumption (including but not limited to spices, seasonings, cures, and casings).
